Contact! Quest Marker Is Wrong
Current answer
The Contact! map marker is a confirmed known issue and can show the wrong location or size. Do not assume the entire marked boundary is an accurate search area.
How to continue safely
- Read the current quest objective again.
- Use named landmarks, dialogue and visible paths instead of the marker edge.
- If playing on a dedicated server, confirm the server is current.
- Avoid abandoning or restarting the quest solely because the marker looks too large or misplaced.
Related display problems
The same quest also had Avisk texture issues and an invisible Chamber barrier on Medium graphics or below. If the marker leads to an apparently empty boundary, the obstacle may be a rendering problem rather than the wrong progression step.
