The intended component is the Anti-Dragon Shield. The early 0.12 recipe incorrectly showed the Dragonblight Shield; Jagex warned players not to consume Dragonblight Shields and scheduled a correction.
Safe action
Update to the latest patch before crafting. If the interface still asks for a Dragonblight Shield, stop and verify the game/server version instead of sacrificing the rarer item. The warning exists specifically because the displayed component was wrong.
Why old guides conflict
Launch-day screenshots and recipe lists may preserve the incorrect component. Prefer the corrected live interface and official issue log. Recipe pages should carry a patch label whenever a required component changes.
