What becomes available

The current database records this boundary: Unlocks additional stone building pieces for fortified construction. That statement does not mean the crafted result is free or automatically placed in the world. Open the relevant crafting, building or skill interface to confirm ingredients, station and current unlock level. Test the effect in a short, repeatable route before reorganising an entire build around it.

Use the unlock in progression

1. Confirm Bastion in the live Skills panel.
2. Open the station or building category named by the unlock.
3. Pin the recipe or list the required materials before leaving base.
4. Craft or place one copy and verify that it solves the intended bottleneck.
5. Only then invest in storage, duplicates or a specialised production route.

When it is worth taking

Take this unlock early when the output gates a quest, opens a blocked route, stores a material that is repeatedly overflowing or enables a recipe central to the current build. Delay it when the output duplicates an existing station or consumes scarce materials without improving the next objective.

For a shared world, agree on placement and material ownership first. One well-positioned utility structure can be more useful than several personal copies.

Troubleshooting the recipe or structure

• Reopen the correct crafting or building category after unlocking the perk.
• Check whether a named station, tool or placement surface is required.
• Verify that the host and client are on the same build.
• Move required ingredients into personal inventory if a station does not see remote storage.
• Consult the current tooltip before following a pre-0.12 crafting path.
