Water and ingredient preparation

Where the recipe offers clean water or a larger dirty-water amount, choose one complete water path. Partial amounts from both branches do not necessarily satisfy the recipe. Prepare clean water first when you want a lighter, simpler inventory calculation.

Brewing sequence

1. Place the Campfire or Cooking Pot at a safe base or expedition stop.
2. Reserve the water quantity before adding the secondary ingredient.
3. Select Clean Water and verify the interface names Hydration.
4. Collect the finished drink and keep an empty slot for the output.

How to plan around the effect

Hydration gives this drink a different job from ordinary hydration. Use the infusion before the action it supports rather than after stamina or hydration has already collapsed. For multiplayer trips, distribute drinks according to role: the player sprinting, dodging or attacking most often benefits from the matching stamina perk.

Common recipe confusion

Do not use a Brewing Cauldron for these infusions; the published recipe table places them at the Cooking Pot. If the recipe is missing, acquire the named secondary ingredient on the current character, reopen the journal and verify the host and client share the same patch. A later tooltip always overrides this Early Access record.
