Fletching Bench

What changed in 0.12

Jagex split the former overloaded Smithing Anvil workflow into specialised furniture. The Fletching Bench now has a clearer category, so an older guide that sends every equipment recipe to an Anvil may be out of date.

Setup and use checklist

1. Place the Fletching Bench on stable, accessible flooring with room at its output side.
2. Open the station and confirm its category matches Shortbows, longbows, crossbows, arrows, bolts and other ranged equipment.
3. Carry or link the required inputs and leave space for output.
4. Start one test craft, collect it, and verify the next recipe or journal entry unlocks.

Base layout advice

Group the Fletching Bench near the storage holding its most common inputs, but keep walking space around interaction and output points. Put refining stations close to fuel and raw-material storage; put equipment benches near bars, thread, leather and rare vault components. In co-op, duplicate high-traffic stations only when queue time is a real bottleneck.

If a station or recipe is missing

Update the client and dedicated server first. For equipment benches, remember that the 0.12 migration returned resources from older Fletching Benches and Smithing Anvils so the new furniture could be rebuilt. For processing furniture, check whether its improvement must be placed within range. Pick up one required material, reopen the build menu and avoid deleting unrelated base pieces.
